Casey and I have been bad bloggers lately. "Bad Robbie! Bad Casey!". There, I saved you some trouble and scolded us verbally. I can tell you I have definitely learned my lesson.
All sarcasm aside, life has been busy. As its been mentioned in the archives of this blog, we are both self-employed. My side is more of a 8-5 type (although its actually more of a 6a-6p these days), and Casey's is more of a "whenever I can get any kind of peace and/or quiet I work on my business". Add to that equation four 3yr olds, and you've got one big bag of absolute madness.
You see, things have really changed over the last few months. One minor item worth noting that I may have mentioned above, WE HAVE 3 YEAR OLDS
Did somebody say cake??

Seriously guys/gals, if you dont act like you're a LOT more excited, there will be no presents and cake.

That's better. Thank You.

Here's Trey working on his red riding hood bit. I gotta say son, I'm not believing it. Sorry. But keep trying!

Clearly, the poor kid in the blue shirt had no idea he was bouncing into the middle of a hornet's nest.

What's that, you need more proof that we throw the best parties? Where else will you see trophies lined up for "best mop user"? Thats right, at a Casey Gerwer party.

Apparently Brady is exhausted by all of the awesome involved in this party. Or maybe he is just saving his energy for the great mop contest later on. Guess we'll never know.

Reid: "If I smile politely will you please let go of my arm and go away?"

Hello Kitty NECKLACE!!!!

Brady is gonna huff, and he's gonna puff, and he's still not going to get much accomplished. Still cute though.

Standing on the left in the "Gap" sweatshirt is our nanny Beth. She is not only a great nanny and friend of the kids (and parents), but she is also in culinary school. She took the time in between doses of insanity from watching our 4, to actually make the cakes for the birthday festivities. She made the "smash cakes" and also the large cake for the party attendants. Darn good cake too. I kept eating it. Not pictured is me pushing all four kids out of the way and taking the cakes and eating them all. No, that's not funny, I'm not really serious. I only ate 3 of them.

Cameron carefully moves the ears of the cake design to begin her assault on the cake.

This picture may look deceiving. It appears that I am lifting Reid up to blow out the candles. In fact, I am actually trying to blow out the candles myself, and pull Reid away from an open flame. That was not only for me, but for the clubhouse where the party was held, all the guests from the party, and the surrounding neighborhoods.

I like this picture, because you can see the exact moment when the sugar penetrates Brady's lips and enters the bloodstream. The next frame of the photo would be a pasty-white lightning bolt.

Cousin Avery and Cameron. Talk about two peas in a pod. I fear when these two are in the teens. Bad things man, bad things. But for now, both adorable. As Casey says, karma is a (well, you can add your own unpleasant word here). Both of these girls are adorable. And both mothers of these girls (Casey and her sister Chelsea) gave their mother a run for the money. Check back in around 2021, and I'll let you know if "what goes around comes around".

Trey patiently waits for the balloons to lift him off the ground and towards the celing. I told him to just inhale the helium, and he'll get there faster. Casey veto'd that one as well.

Aunt Amy, Trey, Uncle Tj, and cousin Avery. I'm sorry, I got nothing. I have no solid reason why these four would randomly appear in a photo together. This reminds me of a networking event, where they ask you to pose for a picture with the other random people standing around you. I think they like to show everyone having a good time, but part of me thinks that part of the fun is seeing the random collection of people, and try to connect the dots. For now, we'll just assume that Amy, Trey, Tj, and Avery were discussing the impact of the industrial revolution on European society.

And because we know you just can't get enough of us, check out our family (Casey, really) being featured on Baby Blog Addict! The best part is its a whole week of fantastic quad mamas and great giveaways! Check it out, people! PLUS one of their great giveaways is from Casey's company Designed For Babies!

And now for the pledge.... I, Robbie, solemly swear, to actually keep up with the blog on a regular basis, and keep the blog entries coming, and keeping the general public informed and entertained.
